There were 25 participating schools from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Four students from La Salle College led by Ms Luk Mee Lin participated in the Olympiad. Our team won two silver medals and two bronze medals, which was the best team result of the four schools from Hong Kong. The other three schools were St. Paul College, Pui Ching Middle School, and Chinese International School. The students have been billeted by La Salle families and attend normal classes. After school hours the La Salle and Beijing students have programmes at the local Universities organised by the Exchange Programme Team at La Salle College. In April La Salle students will be hosted by RDFZ in Beijing. RDFZ is considered the top High School in Beijing with the top Form 6 student in China coming from their ranks last year and presently studying at Hong Kong University.
